Battlefield 1 Beta Off To A Rough Start

Battlefield 1's open Beta is live on Xbox One.  Those looking to download Dice's newest entry into the Battlefield series can do so now.  However those looking to try it out should be forewarned.  So far Battlefield 1's beta has been plagued with bugs, glitches, and a multitude of server issues.

Battlefield 1 takes the series to World War I and for the most part the game is fun.  The WWI weapons and combat are well represented.  The problem is that so far the game has been difficult to play due to the numerous issues.  Long server queues and failures to connect are frequent.  In game bugs are plentiful from bugs that halt progression to bugs that render you weaponless.   Vehicles pop in and out and freezing is common.

Now the good thing is that this is a BETA so glitches are to be expected to a degree.  This is also only the first day really.  Dice has plenty of time to fix these issues before the game launches on Oct 21st.  Still with Dice's history of problematic launches (BF4 for example), the amount of issues so far is enough to make those on the fence skeptical of preordering or buying the game on day one.  Here's hoping EA and Dice gets these issues under control.
