Microsoft has officially pulled the plug on Scalebound, the Xbox One exclusive developed by Platinum Games. Rumours began swirling early this afternoon and MS made it official this evening. This comes as a bit of a shock as Scalebound was well into development and was scheduled for a 2017 release.
Microsoft did not expand on why the game was cancelled and offered no other details. For those anticipating the game this is certainly a disappointment but fortunately there are still some great exclusives to look forward to in 2017 for The Box.
