Battlefield 1 Multiplayer Unplayable with EA Access
Battlefield 1's multiplayer is currently inaccessible for those looking to try the game via EA Access. A recent patch seems to have rendered the multiplayer unplayable for those using the trial. While those who purchased the game can play with no issues, those looking to play the multiplayer using the 10 hour trial EA Access offers will find that the game crashes to the home screen when players attempt to join multiplayer modes. The single player mode seems to be unaffected.
This appears to be an unfortunate side effect of the latest patch. EA has been made aware of this issue although we have not heard or seen a timetable for a fix. Unfortunately until then people looking to try the multiplayer with EA Access will instead be met with game crashes. It's especially unfortunate for new Xbox owners and those who invested in EA Access who were on the fence about buying Battlefield 1. Bugs like this can easily discourage purchases and EA should probably address this issue immediately.
